Make it your story.This position reports toField Service ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.The work model for the role is: Hybrid - Based out of our Metro office with regular travel to both remote sites and offshore. This role contributes to the Electrification Service located in Osborne Park, Perth, Western Australia. Your main responsibilities include:Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve their operations and eliminate pain points.Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and conducting analysis through remote or on-site activities in service categories and products.Preparing material lists needed for service activities and ensuring all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality.Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to prevent future issues.Holding or being willing to obtain BOSIET certification.Willingness to work offshore or in remote regional areas for up to 2 weeks for planned maintenance and reactive work.Upholding ABB safety standards at all times.Qualifications for the roleElectrical License (WA)Minimum 2-4 years industry experience, preferably with SwitchgearExperience in relays and protection is an advantageSkills – Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft and WindowsStrong problem-solving skills, ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, and proficiency with electrical tools and equipmentAbility to negotiate amicably and provide excellent customer serviceMore about usABB's Service Division partners with our customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability, and sustainability of electrical products and installations.
