We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with knowledge in the areas of infrastructure as a service, platform operations, and application support.
Qualifications
* Professional experience in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies
* Good understanding of deployment automation and the tools e.g. Ansible
* In-depth knowledge of hyperscalers like AWS required
* Experience with
* Infrastructure as Code – Terraform preferred
* CI/CD pipeline experience (e.g., ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD, Concourse)
* In-depth experience in technologies used for deploying and managing Cloud-native applications (e.g. microservices):
* Container Orchestration tools e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS and Gardener (optional)
* Familiarity with GitLab and/or GitHub
* Security best practices including hardened containers and images
* Experience with Security tools e.g. Hashicorp Vault (preferred)
* Database knowledge like PostgreSQL, SAP HANA
* Product knowledge of SAP BTP Products is a plus
* Decision‐making, persistence and can‐do attitude
* Excellent methodological and conceptual skills paired with analytical thinking
* Proven ability to work in cross‐functional teams
* Fluency in written and spoken English
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
Work Experience
* 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies
* 2+ years of experience in cloud operations – developing, delivering and maintaining Cloud Products
* Professional experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
