About the role
We are seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Sm mobile mechanical in Mandurah, WA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a range of light vehicles, ensuring our customers' vehicles are serviced to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnose and repair a variety of light vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes and electrical systems
* Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on customer vehicles
* Use specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and effectively
* Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients informed of the status of their vehicle
* Maintain accurate records of all work completed
* Comply with all relevant safety regulations and procedures
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics is a must.
* Minimum 2 years' post qualification experience as a light vehicle mechanic, with a strong understanding of servicing and repairing a range of light vehicles
* Excellent attendance, attention to details and a passion for automotive
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transport
