This role is to run the Freight People business, and will work closely with (but not manage) our sister organisation Cario to allow technology to be part of every customer conversation. The focus of this role is on growth. We want to continue to deliver outstanding service and experience to our existing customers whilst continuing to grow and expand. This is a hands-on executive leadership role with a focus on relationships management, operational oversight, P&L responsibilities and service delivery at scale. The role will report directly to the founders as you execute their vision around expansion, growth and technology adoption. The role will be supported by the shared service function across both businesses which includes the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Responsibilities Key responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to: Nurturing high value relationships, dealing with problem escalations and forming long term, values aligned business partnerships Leading and enabling internal teams to allow them to over deliver on an exceptional customer experience Developing strong alliances with freight carriers and suppliers to secure capacity and deliver service excellence Delivering commercial outcomes in-line with agreed budgets and plans. Leading the optimisation and scalability of operational process ensuring efficiency and consistency across the service lifecycle Leading and mentoring both onshore and offshore teams whilst fostering a high performance culture that encourages ownership, collaboration and a focus on continuous improvement. Partnering with the CRO, CFO and Directors to align business operations with strategic growth priorities supporting the companies expansion The Person To be successful in securing this role we are looking for: An experienced executive leader with a proven track record of driving growth and business expansion Demonstrated experience working in high growth, service-driven environments across Logistics, Freight, Supply Chain, or 4PL Extensive experience leading and developing cross-functional teams across customer service and account management Strong executive presence and the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels up to and including executive level. A consultative and respectful approach to supporting the vision of the Founders and a collaborative approach to execution The ability to win hearts and minds, and take people on the journey of growth and change.
