About the role
Mount Barker Waldorf School is seeking an enthusiastic ICT Helpdesk Officer (Level 1) to support the ICT Manager in the running of the school ICT operations.
The successful applicant will have:

Commencing as soon as possible, this Part-Time role would suit for someone who is enthusiastic and studying ICT at a tertiary level. The opportunity provides hands on experience in the ICT field and offers flexibility around study schedules.
This is a fixed-term contract until December 2026, with a possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the IT Manager, general duties include:
Providing first-line ICT support services to staff and students.
* User account and device configuration using Microsoft products such as Intune and SCCM.
* Device imaging and supporting deployment projects.
* Troubleshooting application and hardware problems.
* Resolving helpdesk tickets and requests from staff and students.
* Liaising with staff and students to assist with ICT related projects.
* Supporting the IT Manager with projects and ICT infrastructure.
* Monitoring and documenting of systems as directed.
* Any other ICT related tasks as directed.
Experience and Attributes
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Essential Requirements
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC)
* Certificate III or working towards a higher qualification
Desirable Requirements
- Experience and proficiency in the use of TASS and SchoolBox management systems
- Experience working in a school environment
- Available for immediate start
