About the Role
CMS is on the lookout for an Electrical Service Technician to join our growing team. Based in Melbourne, this hands-on role will see you responsible for the service and maintenance of a variety of commercial systems across various sites, completing services, repairs, maintenance, and programming around the Metro area.
Duties / Responsibilities
* Installation and programming fire panels from various manufacturers (e.g. AMPAC, Notifier, Simplex, Taktis and Vigilant).
* Fault finding on various fire systems, networks and occupant warning systems.
* Setting up, installing, networking and programming of various types of specialized devices and systems; i.e. Multi Aspirated Smoke Detection Sensors (e.g. Xtralis / VESDA systems), beam detectors, flame detectors.
* Programming & maintenance of fire alarm & detection systems.
* Proven field service experience & ability to troubleshoot, test and repair.
* Inspection and testing of fire systems to AS1851;2012
* Communicate and engage with clients and other CMS employees.
* Identify issues and non-conformances.
* Quoting and scoping for upcoming works.
* After hours call out roster.
