You'll join a mid sized Federal Government Agency that plays a vital role in supporting the operations of Parliament. This agency is undergoing a major digital transformation, modernising its core business systems to better serve the needs of Parliament and the Australian public. Based in Canberra, the team is collaborative, forward-thinking, and passionate about delivering high-quality digital solutions.
Your new role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer, you'll be a key player in a high-impact transformation program. In this team, you'll lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade software solutions using technologies like Microsoft .NET, React JS, and Azure Cloud. You'll work closely with stakeholders across cyber security, infrastructure, and architecture to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with organisational goals.
You'll also take ownership of DevOps processes, manage product backlogs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices. This is a hands-on technical role with a strong leadership component-perfect for someone who enjoys mentoring others and shaping the direction of software delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
To hit the ground running, you'll bring:
* Demonstrated experience in senior software development roles across the full project lifecycle.
* Strong skills in .NET, React JS, Azure, and modern DevOps practices.
* Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
* A solid understanding of microservices, containers, app services, and version control (Git).
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Experience in enterprise-level transformation projects is a bonus.
