We are seeking a System Maintainer – Mechanical (Fixed Term, 12 months, with potential to extend) to join the Asset Management Business Unit. The role is responsible for carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment.
Your strong focus on safe maintenance, effective planning, and contractor coordination will drive success in this role, along with providing guidance and feedback to apprentices.
Key responsibilities:
* Plan, schedule and complete maintenance tasks through adherence to the annual maintenance plan.
* Contribute to plant reliability through application of continuous improvement practices, problem solving and maintenance of appropriate work procedures.
* Provide reliable and accurate data and feedback to key stakeholders.
* Knowledge of safety processes and procedures as they relate to a heavy industry/materials processing environment.
* An Engineering Mechanical Maintainer (Fitter & Turner Fixed Plant Mechanical) is mandatory for the System Maintainer Mechanical role.
