How will your ideas contribute to shaping what's next?
As our new Economist, Infrastructure Advisory, you'll work with a team of highly skilled specialists. You'll be a trusted partner to a diverse range of international clients and develop a deep understanding of their challenges to co-create innovative solutions that help shape the future. You'll play an integral role in the delivery of economics and strategic advisory services to public and private clients, across a range of markets including transport, resources, energy and built environment.
Here are the key things you'll do:
- Leading the development of economics or financial analysis, business cases, asset decision frameworks and integrated advisory services drawing in the other expertise of Aurecon
- Maintaining and further developing relationships with a wide range of clients and critical internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting a pipeline of future opportunities and managing the delivery of projects for key clients
- Helping to lead and grow a team focussed on the energy, water and transport Infrastructure sector as part of our broader Infrastructure Advisory offering

We value that each of our team members brings something different to Aurecon. We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.
Alongside your industry experience in similar management consulting, you'll also have:
- A track record of project delivery in a consulting environment
- Experience across all phases of a project's life cycle and particularly initiation, appraisal and business case stages
- An understanding of techniques such as financial and cost benefit analysis, and knowledge of economic impact modelling
- A demonstrated ability to foster and evolve relationships
- An appreciation of strategic drivers and how these can influence client's decisions
