These are ongoing opportunities with the potential to transition to permanent roles after 3 months. The Client: A large, modern distribution facility in Eastern Creek specialising in aluminium products for construction and manufacturing. The site operates high-volume pick, pack, and dispatch functions, handling long-length materials such as Aluminium rods and bars. It supports processes like cutting, coating, and finishing before distribution. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality control. Equipped with organised storage systems and material handling equipment, the facility services a broad customer base across the region, ensuring timely delivery and reliable supply of specialised aluminium products. Once moving to a permanent employee our client will pay for you forklift license, overhead crane ticket and confined spaces ticket as well! The Role: Shift Times (must be flexible to work both shift times): 6am to 2pm 7am to 3pm Must be available to work overtime Pay Rate: $37 per hour overtime superannuation Key Responsibilities: In these roles you will play a vital role in stock control order picking and stock replenishment. You will assist teams onsite such as the paint and spray departments in ensuring their orders are picked on time as well as setting up same day orders for the despatch team. Your main duties will include: Picking and packing aluminium products, including rods and bars up to 6 metres in length via RF Scanners Replenishment duties of pick and stock locations Manual handling and putting away stock (heavy lifting involved) Using trolleys to transport materials throughout the warehouse to paint and spray teams Preparing aluminium rods for spray and paint processes Moving finished goods to dispatch areas Receiving and dispatch of goods Palletising and wrapping products for transport Assisting with stock counts and cycle counts General warehouse duties and end-of-shift clean-up Preparing orders for same day and next-day dispatch and delivery Experience required: To be successful in obtaining these roles you will have: Minimum 3 years’ warehouse picking experience RF Scanning experience Experience working with aluminium, steel, or similar oversized materials Ability to lift heavy items (Up to 20 kgs) repeatedly throughout your shift Experience handling oversized goods Trolley picking experience Replenishment task experience Stock take and cycle count experience Strong experience with palletising and wrapping large items Experience picking goods via bar coding systems Excellent attention to detail Advantageous: LF forklift licence These roles are fantastic opportunities to work for an industry leader and gain permanent employment within 3 months of starting!
