Multimedia & Graphic Designer – Sunshine Coast | Creative Communications Team | Government Environment
An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Multimedia and Graphic Designer to join a collaborative communications team delivering creative digital content for major infrastructure programs across the Sunshine Coast region.
Working within a multidisciplinary stakeholder communications environment, this role will focus on producing engaging multimedia content including animation, motion graphics, video, photography and graphic design that helps connect communities with important regional projects and initiatives.
You will play a key role in translating complex information into compelling visual content while supporting strategic communication and engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop high-quality creative design solutions across animation, motion graphics, multimedia and graphic design
* Produce engaging digital communication assets including social media content, presentations, maps and digital advertising
* Create and edit video and audio-visual content for online platforms and communication campaigns
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate complex information into clear and engaging visual solutions
* Provide expert advice on best practice digital and multimedia design approaches
* Contribute to the production of traditional print materials including brochures, publications and newsletters
* Ensure all content aligns with branding guidelines and accessibility standards
* Manage competing priorities across multiple creative projects using workflow systems and project management tools
* Stay current with emerging trends in digital design, multimedia production and visual storytelling
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
* 5+ years' experience in graphic design, multimedia production or digital design
* Strong experience producing animation, motion graphics and video content
* Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects
* Experience creating digital content for websites, social media and online communication channels
* Strong visual storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex information
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* High attention to detail and experience working within corporate branding guidelines
Desirable
* Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
* Experience with workflow or project management tools such as Asana
* Previous experience working within a government or large corporate communications environment
