A leading ASX-listed organisation is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their Cairns operations. About the Role: Reporting to the Regional Financial Controller, you will: Partner with operational leaders to drive commercial strategies and improve profitability. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights to inform decision-making. Lead, develop, and mentor regional finance and accounting teams, driving process improvement and consistency. Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and statutory requirements. Be hands-on in financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and audits. What You Will Bring: Proven commercial accounting experience within a multi-site or complex organisation. Strong operational and strategic leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience leading teams, improving processes, and implementing best-practice financial operations. CPA/CA or equivalent accounting qualification preferred. Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
