What You'll Do

* Lead and mentor a high-performing payroll team.
* Oversee accurate, compliant payroll across multiple countries.
* Ensure payroll tax, superannuation, and Fair Work obligations are watertight.

* Act as the go-to expert for payroll queries, compliance, and audits.

* Proven success managing payroll across multiple jurisdictions (Australia and NZ essential).

* Excellent stakeholder management skills – confident, clear, and influential.
* A leadership style that develops and motivates people.
* Ability and drive to work at pace and lead change.

Nice to Have

* Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems such as Workday or TMF.
* Previous involvement in payroll projects, system implementations, or major upgrades.
* Experience managing outsourced/co-sourced payroll provider relationships.
