The role: IT Assurance Coordinator
We are seeking an IT Assurance Coordinator to join our Information Technology team to be based in Sydney.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate timeliness and accuracy in their work, establishing themselves as a go-to member of the team for purchasing and invoicing matters. You will be able to inform decision-making in financial reporting and forecasting, based on a thorough understanding of IT expenses.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:
* Processing IT invoices - ensuring accuracy and completeness; coding invoices to appropriate accounts and cost centres; coordinating approval process ensuring timely review and authorisation; liaising with vendors and Business finance teams to resolve any discrepancies.
* Providing guidance or assistance to IT Service owners in raising and receipting Purchase orders.
* Contributing to the tracking, allocation, and analysis of IT expenses.
* Contributing to the production of monthly financial results, quarterly forecast, and annual budget. Performing ad-hoc IT expense analysis as required.
* Assisting in the maintenance of IT policies and procedures to ensure they align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Assisting in the implementation of IT controls and governance framework.
* Assisting in internal audits.
* Identifying areas of opportunity to deliver greater value to the department and business.
* Complying with WHS obligations and responsibilities in accordance with the requirements for this role as set out in legislation and the firms' policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role we are looking for:
* Experience of cost accounting and ability to interpret financial data is preferred.
* Pays attention to the quality and accuracy of their work.
* A keen interest in technology and the part it plays in supporting a business operate effectively.
* Strong inter-personal skills enabling strong professional relationships to be established.
* Use own initiative, be proactive and prioritise tasks to manage team and stakeholder expectations.
* Shows a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver an excellent service.
* Intermediate Excel & MS Office skills.
