About the Role
This role is hands-on and fast-paced, supporting workshop operations, materials handling, parts movement, and detailing work. You will assist tradespersons and supervisors across the site to ensure efficient workflow and a safe, organised working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general tasks including workshop cleaning, materials handling, and job preparation.
* Operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and movement of materials.
* Support parts picking, inventory handling, and delivery of components to workstations.
* Carry out detailing and final clean of completed trailers and components.
* Follow all WHS procedures, including PPE, shared-zone safety, and safe use of tools and machinery.
* Contribute to a clean, organised, and compliant workplace environment.
* Support continuous improvement and workflow efficiency where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Current forklift licence (LF)Experience working in a manufacturing, mechanical, or workshop environmentStrong understanding of WHS compliance and safe work practicesAbility to read basic drawings or follow technical instructions (advantageous)Experience in detailing and cleaning machinery, equipment, or vehiclesPhysically fit and able to perform labouring and manual-handling tasksReliable, punctual, and able to work within a team environment
