As a Mental Health Clinician, you will collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Operations Manager to provide essential services throughout the Country to Coast Queensland (CCQ) region. Your role will involve supporting clients with severe mental health conditions by delivering direct treatment and coordinating their care effectively.
This role is ideal for a Social Worker, Psychologist, or Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centered care in a supportive, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Conducting clinical assessments and developing tailored treatment plans
* Delivering evidence-based psychosocial interventions
* Managing caseload and conducting risk assessment with management plans
* Collecting data and supporting monitoring and evaluation
* Collaborating with teams and external stakeholders
* Facilitating care planning and review processes
* Monitoring and escalating mental health needs as necessary
* Accessing internal clinical supervision for provisional psychologists

Requirements
* Current AHPRA practicing certificate or AASW registration
* Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, mental health nursing, or similar
* Blue card (not required if registered with AHPRA)
* Driver’s Licence & police check

* Experience managing complex mental health cases
* Experience working with diverse cultures, especially First Nations people
* Background in trauma-informed care
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
* Problem-solving and organisational abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software
