We are partnering with a growing financial services business looking to hire a Risk and Compliance Officer into its Governance, Risk and Compliance team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a background in audit, assurance, controls, compliance or risk who wants broad exposure and the chance to learn in a commercial, fast-moving environment. You will work closely with a high-performing team and gain exposure across control assurance, compliance reviews, reporting, risk registers, remediation tracking and client-related audit activity. Key responsibilities include: testing control design and operating effectiveness maintaining risk and controls registers supporting compliance reviews and monitoring activities tracking remediation actions and control improvements preparing reports, findings and recommendations supporting client reporting and audit requests engaging with stakeholders across the business to understand processes and controls Candidate background and experience: 2 to 3 years’ experience in audit, assurance, controls, compliance or risk financial services experience preferred Big 4 advisory or audit experience viewed favourably strong written and verbal communication skills curiosity, attention to detail and a practical mindset willingness to learn and operate in a lean, hands-on environment Why consider this role: broad role with strong learning curve growing business with good momentum established frameworks and controls, so you can focus on execution and uplift high-quality leadership and good mentorship hybrid working and a positive culture Remuneration: $90K to $100K plus super (negotiable) We are shortlisting for this role immediately.
