Job Description
A senior engineering professional is required to lead project development activities within a vehicle engineering group.
The primary objective of this position is to oversee product development activities for complete projects in the GTT Vehicle Engineering group in Australia, ensuring technical solutions align with approved cross-functional technology strategies and platform objectives.
* Key challenges will include proposing vehicle architecture solutions for proposed projects and leading engineering activities to deliver decided technical solutions in an organized, efficient, and proactive manner.
* Coordination and utilization of local and global engineering networks and competences are also essential for success in this role.

Requirements
Success in this role requires:
* Masters of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
* 5+ years' experience in automotive engineering development environments.
* Excellent planning, organizational, and resource management skills.
* Good knowledge of general engineering development methods and systems, especially for heavy vehicles.
* Ability to work in a global environment while maintaining a local perspective.
* Competent computer skills in Microsoft Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Fluent written and spoken English communication and presentation skills.
