We are seeking a talented Full-Time Chef De Partie to join our team at Stoney's Club in Bacchus Marsh.
This role involves managing a designated kitchen section, supervising junior staff, and assisting with menu development.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining control and leadership in the kitchen during service times in your allocated sections.
* Assisting with the induction of new employees.
* Maintaining professional relationships with external suppliers.
* Preparing and cooking menu items according to guidelines and standards.
* Collaborating with the head chef to develop and implement menus.
* Ensuring all staff follow safety procedures.
The role may be fast-paced and involve tasks such as lifting boxes, kegs, or stock, standing for long periods, and using stairs.
Requirements
* Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
* Food Handlers Certificate.
* Experience working in a pub/bistro environment.
* Hands-on experience in all kitchen areas.
* Ability to follow and give directions.
* Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
