You will be instrumental in generating leads, building a robust sales pipeline, and driving the acquisition of new business and logos.
You will leverage your extensive network, strategic and consultative selling skills, and industry knowledge to position our client's value proposition effectively with key decision-makers, including at the CXO level.Key Responsibilities :Prospect, identify, and secure new business and customers within the Telecoms & Media verticals.Generate leads through personal networks, professional contacts, and targeted research.Develop and execute strategies to build a strong sales pipeline and meet targets.Lead and drive large, complex bids and proposals.Build and maintain strong relationships with key influencers and decision-makers (including CXOs).Articulate our client's value proposition and tailor solutions to client needs.Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, delivery, global practices) to ensure successful sales outcomes.Develop and manage relationships with relevant technology partners.Report on sales activities, pipeline development, and target achievements to the senior leadership team.About You :Experience : Significant experience (10+ years) in Business Development roles within the ANZ market, including relevant ICT services sales experience, specifically within the Telecoms and / or Media sectors.IT Services and Consulting experience is advantageous.Consultative sales capability is essential .Proven Success : Demonstrable track record in acquiring new logos and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.Extensive network of relationships within the Australian / NZ Telecoms and / or Media industries.Skills : Highly enterprising with strong business acumen, expert strategic and consultative selling skills, and experience leading large bids.
Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication (verbal and written) abilities are essential.
