We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team at a time when we are transforming how technology supports the business to improve the customer experience.
This key user-facing role within the IT department will be responsible for capturing, analysing, and documenting business processes and requirements. The Business Analyst will work with stakeholders to determine the priority of requirements based on their value to the business, define the scope of change activities, and collaborate with both users and IT staff to ensure the change meets business needs.
What will you be doing?
1. Conduct detailed current and future state process analysis to identify problems, opportunities, solutions, impacts, and risks. Represent business concepts using process modelling.
2. Conduct benefits analysis, including preparing and updating benefit maps, realisation plans, and profiles.
3. Provide status reports on analysis activities and deliverables as required.
4. Contribute to continuous improvement of the Business Analysis and Service Optimisation practices.
5. Consult, coach, and lead stakeholders across all levels in best practice business and change analysis approaches to build skills and capabilities.
6. Proactively stay updated with relevant technology trends, developments, and advancements.
About You
You should be a great communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. You will need to quickly identify problems and develop creative solutions. The ideal candidate may also meet some of the following criteria:
* Senior Business Analyst with experience in Insurance Products
* Ability to navigate between business and technical domains, with insurance knowledge and experience, especially with data needs and integrations with new vendors
* Extensive stakeholder engagement experience and ability to work with ambiguity
* Proven ability to elicit requirements and create analysis and visualization models (e.g., BPMN, context models, User Stories, Use Cases)
* Strong analytical skills to identify achievable recommendations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
* Experience in managing relationships and influencing stakeholders at various levels across IT and business units, internally and externally
* Highly motivated, capable of managing multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines, often working autonomously
