**About the Role...**
Alspec is currently looking for a Design Draftsperson to complement our phenomenal Design and Specification teams to be based at our Sydney location at Eastern Creek in Sydney.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and organised professional to work as part of a passionate and dynamic team.
This role focuses on building on existing designs and creating new designs across the fenestration and home improvement related systems. You will build strong relationships with staff and suppliers through providing exceptional service and solutions.
Reporting to the Design Team Manager (based in Brisbane) your duties will include:
- Supporting the Design Team
- Drafting general arrangement drawings
- Ensuring new designs integrate with current systems
- Operating in house design software, AutoCad, Inventor & Indesign
- Marketing preparation and support for media releases

To be successful, you will have the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD/Inventor/InDesign.
- Knowledge of Inventor & InDesign would be advantageous.
- Successful completion of Tertiary education in design or engineering.
- An eye for detail when working with complex drawings and calculations.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and diagrams and transform them
into working solutions that can be interpreted by relevant personnel.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- The ability to work autonomously, think on your feet and meet deadlines.
