The Role
The Cleaner, under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge, is responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. This includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as handling tasks such as dusting and rubbish removal. Vacation cleaning duties involve activities such as shampooing carpets and pressure cleaning verandas. The Cleaner is also responsible for reporting faults, maintenance issues and incidents to the designated supervisor while ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.

Eligibility
* obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
* consent to a Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
