Heavy Machinery Repair Technician
Job Description:
* Conduct thorough repairs and maintenance on a variety of heavy mining machinery.
* Participate in major shutdowns and breakdowns to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Gather hands-on experience with machine moves and field service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise directly with clients to understand their equipment needs.
2. Work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team environment.
3. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project deadlines.
Equipment Overview:
* Digger Crew: CAT FS, Komatsu PC, Terex RH120 - RH400, Liebherr R996, Hitachi EX
* Drill Support: Atlas Copco L7 - L8, Epiroc T45, DK45, D65, PV231 - PV351, CAT MD, Cubex 560i, QXR
* Field Service: Trucks: CAT 740, Komatsu HM400, HD, Hitachi EH, Liebherr T264 - T284, Terex MT, Dozers: CAT D6-D11, Komatsu D65-D475, Graders: M, Loaders: CAT, Komatsu WA250-WA, Letourneau L, Excavators: CAT, Komatsu PC390 – PC
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Australian Recognised Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence (C Class minimum; HR preferred or willing to upgrade)
* High-Risk Work Licence: LF, DG, WP
* Proven experience working in Mining on Mobile Plant Equipment
