PRIMARY CARE TEAM LEADER
Full Time, ongoing position
The Primary Care Team Leader is responsible for the effective day-to-day operational leadership of the Rochester Primary Care Centre (RPCC) - a new GP practice operated by REDHS. The practice will be located within the Community Care area of the main hospital in close proximity to Allied Health and other hospital services/practitioners, fostering and advancing the benefits of a true multi-disciplinary model of care.
The role will ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered service delivery, overseeing all relevant activities including patient flow, billing processes, customer engagement and quality improvement.
It will provide direct supervision to team of Administration Support Officers and a Practice Nurse and work closely with the Community Care Quality Officer, to ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies, and accreditation requirements.

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton.
We are an integrated rural health service, providing a broad range of acute, residential aged care, preventative and primary health programs to a population of approximately 8,600 people in the Campaspe and Bendigo Shires.

Following the flood in October 2022, we commenced an extensive rebuild of our facility which was completed in January 2025.
