Principal Structural Engineer – City of Melbourne
Salary: AUD 120,000 – 150,000 per annum.
Job type: Hybrid; Full‐time; Based in Melbourne, Australia.
Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee structural engineering projects across diverse sectors, including industrial buildings and utilities infrastructure.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and the broader design team.
* Ensure all project deliverables meet high quality standards and comply with industry regulations and client requirements.
* Collaborate with architects, designers, and cross‐functional teams to develop innovative, cost‐effective solutions.
* Support the local team and promote a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Senior level experience in structural engineering with a proven ability to manage multi‐disciplinary projects.
* Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Experience in mentoring junior staff and driving technical excellence.
* Familiarity with Australian industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
* Effective communication and stakeholder‐management skills.
