Our client is considered one of the most exciting businesses within their respective sector. As a result of consistent key acquisitions and constant execution of strategy the business has experienced impressive growth.
Due to this growth and several large-scale projects that Finance are expected to deliver, they are now seeking the support of a Junior Analyst into the Commercial Finance team.
**The Role**
The Junior Analyst role involves supporting four Senior Finance Business Partners across the Projects and Commercial areas of the business. Your key responsibilities in the role include:
- Maintenance of accounting processes through identifying vendor contract accruals, and facilitation of month end reporting.
- Data extraction and manipulation, generating insights and value-add reporting, problem solving and driving change through automation to provide support for key decisions.
- Ability to problem solve complex issues, demonstration thought leadership and continuous improvement mind-set
- Review of contracts that are in place
- Analysis of accounting records, vendor contracts and management of the related payments, including invoice validation.
- Analysis of the spending profile of relative contracts
- Assistance with month end reporting process and pulling together consolidations for month end
**About You**
This role would be well suited to an individual who has recently qualified (CA, CPA, CIMA) or is part-qualified. Individuals who has a passion to progress into a commercial finance function are encouraged to apply.
