We are seeking an exceptional medical administrator to join our friendly Team within a busy ENT surgical practice based in Cairns City.
The successful applicant must be well presented, personable, self-motivated, and have a caring, competent and professional manner. Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment is a must.
You will be working closely with our dedicated and supportive team, to provide a high level of administrative support to our ENT surgeon.
This is a casual position approximately 25 hours per week (increasing to cover staff leave) requiring the successful candidate to be available between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM Monday to Friday.
The position includes the following responsibilities:
* Reception and general administrative duties
* Managing a high volume of telephone enquiries and email correspondence; responding to patient queries
* Maintain accurate patient records
Management of practitioner clinics, appointment bookings and theatre schedules.
* Preparation and delivery of surgical quotes
* Liaising closely with patients, other health professionals and hospital staff.
* Processing patient, Medicare and Private Health Fund accounts, invoicing, receipting, and reconciliations.
* Other administration/reception and practice support tasks as required.

* Strong computer skills with experience in Practice Management software.

* Proof of Blue Card QLD Working with Children
* Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status
* Availability to work Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
