Job Title: HR Associate - 6 Month Contract
Overview of the Role:
Our client in the Defence & Security sector is seeking a highly skilled HR Associate to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. As an HR Associate, you will play a crucial role in the Human Resources department of a renowned company in the industry.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide coaching, advice, and support to Line Managers on various Employee Relations case types within UK businesses.
* Establish effective relationships to ensure stakeholders are engaged and informed at appropriate stages, collaborating with the UK Case Coaching Team and other stakeholders to deliver timely and accurate case work.
* Offer legally compliant, policy-aligned advice to managers and employees to manage risks.
* Maintain and develop relationships with Business HR, Trade Unions, Employee Representatives, Occupational Health, Labour Law, and others involved with the Case Coaching Team.
* Contribute to technological, policy, and process improvements to enhance service efficiency.
* Work with stakeholders to improve line leader capability in managing Employee Relations cases effectively.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in Human Resources.
* Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Experience in Employee Relations and case management policies and processes.
* Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, including with Trade Unions and Employee Representatives.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR software/databases preferred.
* Understanding of employment legislation and compliance.
