Job Description
An opportunity has become available for an SMSF Senior / Supervisor to join the growing superannuation team. This role will involve managing SMSF compliance and supporting clients with superannuation matters while working closely with managers and partners.
Key Responsibilities Include
Preparing and reviewing SMSF financial statements and tax returnsManaging a portfolio of SMSF clientsLiaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with superannuation legislationPreparing member statements and pension documentationAssisting clients with superannuation queries and technical mattersSupporting junior staff and reviewing work where required
Successful Applicant To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
4+ years’ experience in SMSF accounting within public practiceStrong understanding of SMSF compliance and superannuation legislationExperience using SMSF software such as BGL or similar platformsBonus but not necessary: CA, CPA or SMSF Association qualification (or working toward completion)Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships
