Senior Accountant – Sydney Office
* Hands‐on accounting role working with a diverse client portfolio
* Balance work from home with collaborative team connection days
* 9‐day fortnight with no salary reduction
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accounts, tax returns, BAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for a broad range of clients, from SMEs to large companies
* Assist with tax and accounting advice
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients
* Monitor, review and liaise with clients regarding compliance requirements
* Provide development, coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members as required
Skills and Experience
* Qualification(s) and / or professional accreditation(s) in a relevant discipline such as Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or other relevant professional or overseas qualification(s)
* Have commenced (or planning to commence) a CA qualification
* Significant professional experience in business and tax advisory within a chartered accounting setting
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with a desire to go 'above and beyond' to delight customers
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities within a deadline‐driven environment
