Job Title: Horticultural Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Horticultural Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lawn care, plant maintenance, and safe use of gardening equipment.
This role involves a variety of tasks including lawn mowing using push and ride-on mowers, edging around garden beds, paths, driveways, and lawn borders, as well as hedging and pruning shrubs, hedges, and small trees with clean, neat finishes.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for weeding, mulching and planting as needed, green waste removal and site clean-up after each job, checking plant health and reporting any issues, and operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance, minimum 1-2 years of experience, sound knowledge of lawn care, plant maintenance, and safe use of garden equipment. They will also need to be confident in using tools like hedge trimmers, blowers, whipper snippers, edgers, and have good physical fitness, as this is an active outdoor role.
In addition to the technical skills and qualifications, the successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, pride in workmanship, ability to work independently and manage time well, and a driver's license, car licence and light rigid licence. A White Card and/or horticulture qualification would be desirable but not essential.
