About Us:
Cfd Mechanical Design Engineers play a crucial role in delivering mechanical engineering services, design and implementation of enterprise data centers that meet global quality and performance standards.
Working directly with stakeholders within the APAC region, you will evaluate cooling systems using in-depth CFD knowledge to make data-driven decisions aligned with our guidelines.
You will drive successful project delivery while maintaining high performance standards and utilize innovation to reduce PUE, water consumption and CAPEX while increasing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate cooling systems using in-depth CFD knowledge
* Drive successful project delivery
* Utilize innovation to reduce PUE, water consumption and CAPEX
* Develop mechanical documentation
* Drive process improvements
* Perform building energy use calculations
* Perform CFD models on innovative designs
* Provide reports to senior leadership
* Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams
Requirements:
* 5 years experience with Sigma Six or HELYX CFD modeling software
* Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering
* Thorough understanding and use of principles, theories and concepts in mechanical engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
* Engineer in training or Chartered Engineer
* Understanding of building controls documentation
* Programming skills in Python and AI tools
* Deep understanding of data center mechanical systems and cooling control schemes
