About the Role

We are hiring an Entry-Level Customer-Facing Yard Hand at our Northgate yard. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will join a dynamic team responsible for sorting, grading, purchasing, and processing scrap metal using various types of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to all customers
• Load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers using a forklift
• Accurately grade and sort scrap metal materials
• Maintain a safe and tidy site in compliance with all OH&S policies and environmental guidelines

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for exceeding expectations
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and build new skills through training
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail
• A valid Forklift license is highly desirable
