An exciting opportunity is available for an Orthoptist or Ophthalmic Technician to join the team at Bunbury and Busselton Eye Specialists.
This part-time role offers flexibility across a range of clinic days and hours. You will work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high‐quality patient care across a broad range of ophthalmology subspecialties.

* Experience performing diagnostic imaging including:
o OCT
o Fundus and retinal photography
o Fluorescein angiography
o Biometry
o Corneal topography
o Optos imaging
* Experience assisting ophthalmologists with minor procedures and intravitreal injections
* Experience assisting in paediatric ophthalmology clinics
Roles and Responsibilities
* Set up and assist ophthalmologists in all aspects of patient care to support efficient clinic flow
* Conduct patient assessments and record relevant medical history
* Assist doctors with minor procedures and injection preparation
* Perform a wide range of ophthalmic diagnostic imaging and screening
* Support clinic operations across multiple ophthalmology subspecialties
* Contribute to an evolving and dynamic Orthoptic role
About You
We are seeking an experienced individual who thrives in a busy, professional team environment and shares our commitment to excellence in patient care.
Previous experience as an Orthoptist, Ophthalmic Clinical Assistant or Enrolled Nurse within an ophthalmology setting will be highly regarded.
You will also demonstrate:
* Professional presentation and strong communication skills
* Compassionate and patient‐focused approach
* Practical understanding of ophthalmic disorders and treatments
* Excellent time management, multitasking and attention to detail
* Current Driver's Licence (essential)
