Job Title: Hearing Monitor
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to serve as a hearing monitor. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording proceedings, producing high-quality audio recordings of hearings, and creating accurate annotations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Audio Recording: Produce high-quality audio recordings of hearings using various technologies such as Liberty, FTR, and VIQ.
* Annotations: Create accurate annotations of hearings, including names, spellings, places, and terminology.
* Liaison: Liaise with clients in a professional manner to ensure smooth communication and cooperation.
* Travel: Travel to client premises, courtrooms, or Epiq offices to record proceedings as required.
* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of hearing sitting times, travel times, and other relevant information.
* Equipment Management: Utilize and maintain various recording technologies, and perform periodic equipment checks.
* Administration: Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including uploading and converting audio files.

* Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recordings and annotations.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.
