About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, engaging, systems and training expert to lead and develop our IT and business systems, training initiatives and digital learning content. Predominantly based in our Perth Head Office and with regular site travel, you will engage and work with teams at all levels across the company in the office and across project sites ensuring our systems are optimised to the fullest and that our employees get the full benefit out of Monford's technology and learning platforms.
Systems
- Manage company IT and Business systems to ensure functionality meets strategic and operational needs.
- Liaise with vendors to ensure systems meet ongoing business needs.
- Gather user feedback to ascertain system performance and areas of improvement.
- Ability to become a Power User in all applications and systems for training purposes.
- Audit internal databases to ensure procedures and processes are compliant and maintained, and reports produced for review are accurate and valid.
- Collaborate closely with IT specialists and other departments to ensure system compatibility and smooth data flow.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, identifying potential integrations or upgrades proactively.
- Assist with asset management and equipment deployment.
Content
- Creatively design, develop, implement, and promote dynamic and progressive learning programs and workshops in alignment with industry best practices.
- Audit existing e-learning materials and ensure all content meets the learning ambitions of the organisation.
- Engage with subject matter experts to ensure learning content and concepts are correct and compliant.
- Provide technical expertise during training sessions, helping staff understand system functionalities.
Management
- Liaise with MFG team to ensure learning/training processes are being followed and induction/training requirements of all employees are being met.
- Ensure consistent monitoring of industry benchmarks about site training to ensure competitive engagement and retention strategies.
- Regular site visits to ensure performance and adherence of operating procedures and complete on site training sessions.
- Mentor others to encourage change and adaptability, accelerate growth and improve performance.
- Actively consult and collaborate with leaders, specialists, and experts within the wider organisation, as well as external vendors and service providers to identify skills gap, capability needs, and programs of work that will strengthen capability.
About You

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business or related field/equivalent experience
- Certification / Diploma in Training and Assessment is advantageous
Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in training coordination/ content creation roles, with experience in building eLearning content within LMS platforms
- Experience in analysing training needs and designing and executing training plans for multiple systems
- Advanced technical experience in Microsoft Office and Adobe systems
- Extensive experience with various web-based applications as a User, Admin, and Trainer.
- Experience working in a rapidly growing business requiring multi-tasking and proactive teamwork.

- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work effectively in a quick‑paced construction environment with all levels of workers.
- Highly organised and have the ability to meet deadlines with exceptional record‑keeping skills.
- Strong WHSE focus and accountability.
- Ability to develop job specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and perform statistical reporting.
