About the Job
Our client is a well-established and expanding civil contractor with a significant growth over the last two years. They are currently seeking an experienced construction professional to manage the day-to-day operations on site.
This role will be responsible for directing and coordinating the successful completion of multiple civil projects based in Western Sydney. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this position requires strong leadership and organisational skills.
The Role
As a foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process from start to finish. This includes managing material stock levels, conducting toolbox meetings, and ensuring the timely delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
* On-site management and direction of sub-contractors
* Quality assurance and control
* Conducting safety meetings and audits
* Managing project timelines and budgets
* Collaborating with project managers to ensure project success
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience in subdivision or carpark projects
* Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction specifications
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Able to drive team productivity and efficiency
