Due to sustained growth in customer demand and the increasing complexity of retail operations, we are now seeking a capable and motivated Retail Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our frontline team. The role is essential in ensuring consistent service standards, maintaining compliance with postal and retail protocols, and supporting the smooth delivery of core services in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum (depending upon skills and experience)
The key responsibilities of the role will include but will not be limited to:
· Independently manage, oversee and coordinate store activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
· Monitor sales performance across postal, retail, and identity services and implement strategies to optimise revenue and customer engagement.
· Ensure stock availability by managing inventory levels of packaging supplies, placing timely orders, and minimizing wastage.
· Plan in-store promotional displays and seasonal retail offerings to meet local customer demand
· Address customer concerns quickly and ensure an excellent experience.
· Ensure full compliance with Australia Post operational protocols, workplace safety standards, and data security requirements.
· Analyse store performance, prepare sales reports, and identify areas for improvement.
· Lead and train team members to maintain high service, accuracy and performance standards.
·Maintain quality assurance for all transactions, ensuring accuracy in postal processing, identity checks, and financial services.
· Organize staff rosters efficiently to meet customer traffic patterns and balance productivity and labour costs.
· Support community outreach and local engagement initiatives to strengthen customer loyalty and brand reputation
· Oversee cash handling, secure lodgements, and store-level financial reconciliations to protect company and customer assets
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a leadership/managerial role managing a store
2. Minimum Diploma of Hospitality, Management, or a related field. Extensive experience can substitute the requirement of qualification.
3. At least two years of proven Australian experience as a Retail Manager/Store Manager
4. Strong understanding of sales trends, financial management, and inventory control.
5. Background in staff supervision, training, and team motivation.
