Executive Chef Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our kitchen team as a Full-Time Chef. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality meals, maintain kitchen standards, and contribute to our food service operations.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare meals to a consistently high standard across bistro, functions, and specials.
* Ensure all food preparation meets strict health and safety regulations.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a productive work environment.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering deliveries.
* Maintain a positive attitude even during busy periods.
* Assist junior kitchen staff training and mentoring.
About the Successful Candidate
* A trade-qualified chef with 2 years experience in a similar role.
* Ability to work across various kitchen sections.
* Knowledge of modern Australian cuisine.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
* Willingness to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* A team player with a strong work ethic and passion for quality food.
