The Role:
We are seeking a Trainer to own and drive the capability strategy across your State, delivering measurable improvements in commercial performance, compliance outcomes, and leadership development. Reporting to senior operational leaders, you will identify capability risks, strengthen talent pipelines, and embed a high performance learning culture aligned with OTR's strategic objectives.
You will provide:
* Deliver engaging training sessions and competency assessments tailored to operational needs.
* Act as the primary training contact within the State, partnering with Managers and Store Leaders to address skill and capability gaps.
* Provide hands-on coaching in-store to support performance and capability development.
* Drive performance uplift using Sites of Excellence for leadership development, new store openings, and cross-site skill transfer.
* Monitor, maintain, and report on training progress, attendance, completion, and outcomes.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of training programs through feedback and analysis.
* Ensure all training aligns with compliance, brand, and operational standards
* Travel intrastate/regionally and work across flexible shifts to meet operational needs.

About You
* Certificate IV in TAE (desirable) with relevant training, coaching, or mentoring experience.
* 2+ years' experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
* Proven ability to deliver structured training and competency validation.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Flexibility to work across all business day parts and travel as required.
* Full, valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing operational priorities.
