About The Client
Our client is a prominent player in the mining industry, delivering large-scale infrastructure and sustaining capital projects across Western Australia. They are committed to innovation, safety, and high-quality project outcomes.
About The Role
Work Pac are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support sustaining capital projects, with a focus on a major de-watering and aquifer recharge initiative. This Perth-based role involves regular site travel and is offered on a Monday to Friday roster. The successful candidate will manage the electrical engineering design and support the project through construction and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee electrical design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance
- Develop procurement strategy and packages for switchrooms, MCCs, HV and LV equipment
- Monitor and ensure equipment fabrication meets schedule, quality, and standards
- Provide electrical engineering support throughout construction and commissioning
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success
Skills And Experience Required
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer on large-scale mining or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of HV and LV electrical equipment, switchrooms, and MCCs
- Experience in engineering management and quality assurance for design deliverables
- Knowledge of procurement strategies and vendor management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to travel to site regularly as required
