About the role
We are looking for a Manager, Mobile Equipment Maintenance to join our Tom Price leadership team and lead our mobile equipment maintenance team to success. This is a residential role on a 5:2/4:3 roster at Tom Price.
As an experienced asset management and/or maintenance optimisation leader, this role offers the opportunity to lead a people-centric, technology-advanced maintenance team. You will be part of our ongoing journey to enhance efficiency and safety, support the operation and business, and provide authentic leadership and genuine care to our people.
You will work across boundaries to motivate, inspire and keep your people safe and well, with a culture of care, connection and trust. Signature leadership training programmes support ongoing development.
Reporting to the site General Manager, this role involves active safety and performance leadership in a challenging environment and close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Location note: Tom Price, with a family-friendly 5/2, 4/3 roster that supports work–life balance.
What you'll do
* Actively foster and communicate a safety and performance-driven culture
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities
* Lead, coach and develop a team of engaged Maintenance personnel
* Ensure core asset management processes and practices are applied
* Assess and manage risks and assurance activities over asset lifecycle
* Be appointed as an alternative for Site Senior Executive (SSE) under the WHS (mines) Regulations 2022 with the function as per Schedule 26
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across operational and functional support teams, and partner with original equipment manufacturers externally

* Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale maintenance works, including planning, scheduling and budget management
* Authentic values-led leadership showing genuine care, courage and curiosity
* Demonstrated asset management and/or maintenance optimization experience
* Exposure to heavy mobile equipment maintenance is highly desirable; leadership experience in other operational maintenance environments is welcome

Where you'll be working
Tom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly-in fly-out employees. It is known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a high school, two primary schools, a hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities.
