Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
Our ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing and implementing health, safety, and environmental strategies across various sectors. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement in workplace safety.
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks.
* Lead reporting and investigations of hazards, incidents, and injuries/illnesses, ensuring accurate records are kept.
* Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and collaborate during inspections and audits.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement, promoting a zero-harm workplace environment.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in an HSE business partner or operational role, preferably in a complex, high-risk environment.
* Strong knowledge and experience in HSE management systems, legislation, and risk management.
* Demonstrable understanding of injury management, workers' compensation, and health promotion principles.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in work health and safety, risk management, or related field.
