Freedom IT is a fast growing Managed Service Provider(MSP) based in Toowoomba, Queensland, supporting clients across a range of industries. We act as the trusted local presence for national and global IT providers, delivering reliable on-site support, project work, and equipment replacements for organisations including major retailers, corporate networks, and government departments.
The Role
This full-time role is a mix of field services and helpdesk support. The position is primarily focused on on-site work including warranty repairs, diagnostics, and installations across a two-hour radius of Toowoomba. When not on-site, you will support internal operations and assist with helpdesk requests.
Typical Work Includes
* Laptop and desktop hardware diagnostics and repairs
* Server and infrastructure component replacements
* Basic networking configuration and troubleshooting
* Microsoft 365 and user support
* On-site project work and rollouts
* Coordination with national support teams
Key Responsibilities
* Attend client sites for support, repairs and installations
* Perform hardware replacements across laptops, desktops and servers
* Act as the 'hands and feet' for national IT providers
* Complete job reports, documentation and returns processing
* Communicate clearly with clients and support teams
* Assist with helpdesk tickets and general IT support
Requirements
* Strong attention to detail and quality of work
* Confidence working with computer hardware
* Good communication and documentation skills
* Ability to work independently on client sites
* Valid driver's licence (vehicle provided)
* Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
Position Details
Full-time position with a mix of field and office-based work. Opportunity for growth as the business continues to expand. Police check and Blue Card will be required for client site access.
