Medical Transport Specialist
This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to their medical appointments, contributing to improved patient outcomes and wait times.
The Medical Transport Specialist will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle, managing transport bookings, and building positive relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
* Responsibilities:
* Transport patients from one location to another while adhering to AGPAL Accreditation Standards.
* Manage transport bookings in electronic systems and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, hospitals, and stakeholders.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Current Driver's License.
* Current First Aid & CPR Certification.
* Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
* Previous experience as a Medical Transport Specialist.
* National Police Certificate.
* Evidence of work rights.
Preferred Requirements
While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:
* Previous experience working in Primary Health settings.
* Experience using electronic Patient Management Systems such as MMEx.
* Proven organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, plan, set, and prioritize tasks.
