Overview
We are looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join the team at our Kwinana Beach location. This role involves efficiently completing various fabrication projects. This position is ideal for a proactive, skilled boilermaker / welder eager to grow their career in a small but expanding team. Likely start as full time casual during probation period with permanent employment expected based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Working as part of a fabrication team to manufacture components and complete projects in the workshop.
* Complete a variety of welding jobs using various techniques / technologies.
* Pipe welding and structural welding as required (experience desirable).
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to specifications.
* Adhere to safety procedures and requirements.
* Manage time and project progress effectively.
Skills & Experience
* Australian Trade Certificate in Boilermaking / Welding.
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience.
* Familiarity with welding standards.
* Proficiency in various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding.
* Certified forklift or overhead crane licence is advantageous but not essential.
* Basic computer skills (Word / email) and professional communication.
* Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in your work.
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
* Current car driver's licence and reliable transport.
* Ability to pass a medical and drug / alcohol screening, as well as valid Australian working rights.
