The Hospital Coordinator (After Hours Nurse Manager) is a pivotal member of the health care team providing leadership and management of the nursing team and hospital in an afterhours setting.

Responsibilities
* Supervising safe, quality care that meets current best practice standards
* Supporting and liaising with Visiting Medical Officers, Hospital Executive, and the respective Nurse Unit Managers of wards and departments
* Ensuring all areas are staffed appropriately and cost efficient
* Coordinating patient admissions/discharges/transfers
* Oversee the safety of all patients and hospital staff
* Provides overarching management to the hospital after hours
Qualifications
* 5 years of Registered Nursing Mental Health experience in an acute setting
* Recent inpatient mental health management experience at ANUM level or higher
* Demonstrated experience with the coordination and allocation of staff
* High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* People leadership skills including mentorship and coaching of team members
* Ability to manage special projects and selected portfolios
* Post Graduate Qualification in a mental health related discipline or management (desired)
* Knowledge of relevant Awards and Enterprise Agreements (desired)
