Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook dishes with seasonal produce and bold flavours.
* Work across pan, grill and larder stations as required.
* Collaborate with a small, supportive team to maintain kitchen standards.
* Contribute ideas and procedures in a nurturing environment.
* Deliver exceptional dining experiences through quality preparation and presentation.
* Adhere to food safety and hygiene practices and ensure consistency under pressure.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef/Cook in a professional kitchen environment.
* Minimum 1-2 years of professional kitchen experience required.
* Solid understanding of culinary techniques and principles.
* Knowledge of various cooking styles and cuisines.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
* Can work in pan, grill and larder sections.
* Must have legal eligibility to work in Australia.
Qualifications
* Preference for culinary school certification.
* Food safety certification is highly desirable.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
