Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage strategic partnerships and drive business growth in the Defence sector. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Defence capability development and government acquisition frameworks, with a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
The role involves coordinating customer and industry engagement to understand needs and shape feasible solutions, as well as supporting the development and execution of capture strategies aligned to our priorities. You will also be responsible for guiding teams in preparing for client engagements, presentations and gate reviews, and contributing to proposal development to ensure alignment with schedule, quality and strategic objectives.
About the Role:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with Defence customers, industry partners and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate customer and industry engagement to understand needs and shape feasible solutions.
* Support the development and execution of capture strategies aligned to our priorities.
* Guide teams in preparing for client engagements, presentations and gate reviews.
* Contribute to proposal development to ensure alignment with schedule, quality and strategic objectives.
* Manage opportunity pipelines using CRM systems to track and report progress.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A deep understanding of Defence capability development and government acquisition frameworks.
* Strong relationship-building skills and experience working with Defence customers and industry partners.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Proven experience in business development or capture management within Defence or related sectors.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance (Secret or above).
